Chemical Data, Mechanical Properties and Specifications for Nickel Alloy 600
Inconel® Alloy 600 is a non-magnetic nickel-chromium alloy perfect for use at high temperatures when corrosion resistance is important. Often used in chemical and food processing, Alloy 600 has demonstrated it's use for nuclear engineering, furnace components and gas turbine components.
Inconel® 600 is a versatile alloy that can be annealed, cold drawn, hot worked, welded and formed by conventional methods.
It is resistant to many corrosive agents, including: chlorine ion stress-corrosion cracking, high purity water, and organic acids. Alloy 600 is also resistant to carburizing and ammonia bearing atmospheres.
