Vincent Metals sells Hastelloy ® C-22 in rod, plate, and foil.
Hastelloy ® C-22 is a austenitic nickel based super alloy, a versatile material with impressive resistance to corrosion. C-22 is very ductile and good for welding. It is resistant to pitting and crevice/crack corrosion, and can withstand sea water, chlorine, and acidic chlorine environments. C-22 is machined using high speed tooling and can be heat worked using either hot or cold working.
A few products and industries that utilize C-22 include:
- Chemical processing
- Pulp and paper
- Oil and gas
- Chlorine systems
