We sell 15-5 PH Stainless Steel in a variety of forms: rod, flat bar, plate, sheet/strip, and wire.
15-5 PH is a martensitic precipitation hardened stainless steel favored by the aerospace industry. Its roles in this industry include:
- Stuctural components
- Gears, shafts, and valves
- Engine parts
- Nuclear reactor components
15-5 PH stainless steel consists of 15% chromium, 5% nickel, and has excellent corrosion resistance. It was specifically designed to be stronger than 17-4 steel, its predecessor, and can be further reinforced by undergoing cold heat treatments. In addition to being used in aerospace, it is also utilized in chemical, paper, and food processing industries.
